Delhi to Bangalore: Day 5 (Travel to Bangalore)

Finally, I reached Bangalore. I will be keeping this post short and crisp because now I want home relaxation.

I started from Hyderabad around 8:30 AM and reached Hebbal (technically the start of Bangalore) around 4:00 PM. After crossing Hebbal it took me around an hour to reach home. Overall, it took me 8 hours to cover the distance.

On the way I crossed major cities namely Mahbubnagar (Telangana), followed by Kurnool and Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh), and Chikkaballapur (Karnataka). Also, I crossed two major rivers of the region Krishna and Tungabhadra. Tungabhadra river also forms the border between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. While most of the road in Telangana is a bit crowded, it is not the case in Andhra Pradesh. Here the roads were quite empty and I could hit 100 to 120 kmph at certain times.

Whereas it was warm throughout the journey, you will cool breeze the moment you are near the border of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The road between the border of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh followed by a border of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka has some of the most beautiful scenic views.

In the last two months, not been much change in Bangalore, but it’s a different feeling. This may be due to the famous Bangalore traffic.

With this, I will sign off my Delhi to Bangalore trip, which took me 5 days and 4 nights to complete. I know you will do it quite faster. But, take my advice and give time to the trip and do not hurry to finish the trip.

Thanks for reading.
